| Update: September
10, 2002 |
The RSB Specific Plan was unanimously approved by the
Redwood City Council on September 9, 2002. This Plan not
only makes our Conditional Use Permit for our Church Campus
permanent, it also approves a master plan for 1406 Radio
Road. That plan includes in addition to the Ministry Center,
the future removal of the Student Center and the development
of up to a 16,000 square foot multi-purpose building where
Sunday Discovery Services could be held on Campus.
The development of the Specific Plan, along with the selling
of bonds to complete the financing of our Campus brings
to an end the first phase of our Building the Dream Development.
It is absolutely amazing to look back at all that has transpired
over the last 3 years. God has done far more than we could
have possibly imagined back in 1999.
But as this phase ends, and particularly with the passage
of the Specific Plan, I’m being asked quite a lot
these days, what happens next with our Campus. In 2003,
I will be asking our Board of Directors to begin praying
and planning for our next steps. I hope to sometime in ’03
to present to the church a master plan of development that
outlines the course of action our church will take with
regard to the Campus.
In the interim, let me encourage you to consider prayerfully
the financial obligations the church has acquired in developing
our Campus. I hope that not only will you enjoy having
a place for us to come and make God known, to be holy and
to build community, but that you will help us continue
to function in all aspects of our church by financially
contributing. And be sure to stop and thank God for what
He has done lately – every time we step foot on the
Campus, it is a “Yea God!” moment!

| Update: January 4,
2002 |
The Fully Alive Campus is nearing completion on Phase
1. The interior of the Campus is 95% complete now. All
that is lacking is some finishing details. The exterior
of the Ministry Center is slated to be painted as soon
as the weather report indicates 2 to 3 dry days in a row.
The final inspections of the building should be completed
within the first 2 weeks of the month of January and regular
use of the building will follow immediately.
And speaking of immediate use, Fully Alive will inaugurate
the building with a flurry of activities tied into the
new "Gift" Spiritual Growth Campaign. The Ministry
Center will host Fully Devoted Group Studies, Wired Classes,
Budgeting, Financial Planning and Debt Reduction classes
throughout the month of January. Look for a special Dedication
service for our new Campus in early February!

| Update: Dec 12, 2000 |
Fully Alive is now moving forward with obtaining building
permits for Phase 1 of our Campus Development. Construction
should begin sometime in January and be completed in the
Spring. Phase 1 includes the renovation of the old KGEI
Radio building into our Ministry Center, a face lift for
the Student Center and extensive landscaping of the Campus.
Fully Alive is also in the final stages of preparation
for the RSB Specific Plan. Fully Alive is participating
along with the other property owners along Radio Road and
members from the local owners associations in the development
of the plan. The plan includes a future Worship Center
on the Campus. That plan is expected to be submitted to
the Redwood City Planning Commission in mid January, and
be presented to the City Council in the fall of 2001. |
