What is a "Finance
Director"?
Fully Alive believes the Bible teaches
that it's important for all of us to stay in control of
our finances. (As oppose
to our finances controlling us!) For that reason, our Finance
Ministry offers opportunities to help us all get a better
handle on our money, with regular classes on Debt Reduction,
Personal
Budgeting, and Financial Planning. Julie's responsibility
is to oversee this Ministry, as well as act as a liaison
to our
church's Board of Directors.
How did you come to Fully Alive?
When Fully Alive began, Scott and Mark both shared with me
the vision that God had given them for this church and for
me as an assistant to Dana with the finances. As soon as I
heard, I began to pray and I felt God calling me here almost
immediately. I came and have had an awesome ride ever since!

What is your favorite
scripture verse?

Where would be your
dream vacation and why?
My dream vacation would be to go to Europe. I'd especially
like to go to France because I've studied French for so many
years (about 10) that it would be fun to actually use it there! |

How have you progressed on your
spiritual journey to be a Christian?
I feel that I have really progressed a lot in my spiritually
journey. In these last four years - learning to come to God
more, to be in His word, to walk and talk with Him grow so
intimately. Also, with the community that surrounds me at
Fully Alive, I can feel God's presence so much more everyday.
I feel it is God's plan and desire for me to be here and
I'm so thankful that I have such and awesome opportunity
to serve Him.

Who are the biggest
influences in your life?
Definitely Jesus Christ has influenced my life. I would not
be alive without His love and grace and example on how life
should be lived. Also, a human influence would have to be my
grandmother. For 40 years she lived as a pastor's wife and
is such a reflection of God's love. She shares so much wisdom
and I can see God's light shine through her in all she does. |
