What is a "Teaching
Pastor"?
The Bible is a big book - with lots of subject matter
contained in it. The teachers at Fully Alive see their
job as one of researcher. Our teachers aren't in anyway "more
connected" with God than anyone else. They simply go through
the Bible and look for insights that will help everyone
and then come back and share them with the entire church.
Lee primarily teaches at Fully Alive Worship.
How did you come to Fully Alive?
I have been a Christian for a long time but it hasn't been
an easy road. It has had some real twists and turns in doubt
and frustration and at some points completely going the other
direction from God. In my High School years I really began
to take my relationship with God seriously and learn about
his plan for my life and in the instances when I have followed
his will they have been the most memorable moments in my
life. After I graduated from High School I became a youth
intern and loved the opportunity to share my experiences
with youth just like I was. During my time as an intern Scott,
(at that time the youth pastor) Jayson (my best friend) and
I read a passage in the Bible Acts 2:42-47 it changed what
we thought about church and became our desire and prayer.
About a year later Scott decided to start Fully Alive and
I was glad that God had encouraged me to go with him. |

How have you progressed on your
spiritual journey to be a Christian?
Recently in my relationship with God I have been discovering
how I need to feed myself spiritually. I have been becoming
increasingly aware of the fact that to keep my physical
body going I need to eat at least 3 big meals a day. I
have been discovering that in order to spiritually grow
I need to be doing the same thing having a few meals a
day to keep myself growing. Just as a physical body that
eats and gets no exercise becomes fat and lazy so my spiritual
body does the same if I don't act on what I learn.
