How did you come to Fully Alive?
In December of 2003, a nanny position brought me from New Jersey to California. I actually started searching for a church before I left New Jersey, but I didn't come across Fully Alive until a few months after being in California. Fortunately, Fully Alive had a great website that I stumbled across and decided to give the church a try. From the moment I arrived here, I felt at home. It was definitely what I needed, being so far away from friends and family. God definitely led me to the perfect place at the perfect time. I'm very thankful because someone from Fully Alive introduced me to my wonderful husband. God knows what He's doing! |
What is your favorite
scripture verse?
"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." Mark 10:14-15
This verse is great! I remember this verse so well because I remember helping Samantha, my little sister, learn this when she was very little. It really reminds me of how important children are to God and how important they should be to us. It also tells how encouraging we need to be for them and not hold them back from learning God's word. |

How have you progressed on your
spiritual journey to be a Christian?
I have grown up always going to church. I actually accepted Christ when I was in middle school at Word of Life camp in New York. From that point on, I really understood what it meant to be a Christian. I feel like I really started walking with Christ when I was in high school. I am very thankful that I had such a wonderful Youth Pastor and church to help me learn what it meant as well as helping me become the person I am today. Everything in life helps you to become stronger and closer to Christ.

Who are the biggest
influences in your life?
There are a few really big influences in my life. The obvious is Jesus! There's definitely something missing if you don't look up to Him completely. He is the one that should influence every decision of your life. My mother and father are both big influences in my life because they raised me to become who I am. They always made sure they were there when they needed to be. I definitely hope to be the mother my mother is. Finally, my husband, Stephen is a wonderful infuence. He is very honest, loving, intelligent and driven. All qualities that I strive to bring into my life every day. |
