Welcome to the Inspiration and Encouragement page of Women’s Ministry! We’re very excited to share our vision with you. It is our desire to provide you with a source of joy, encouraging words and inspiration. Think of it as sunshine for your soul. Every edition will feature a variety of quotes, anecdotes, poems, verses, and uplifting thoughts- but best of al,l we hope to bring to you in each issue one of your own stories.

We know that our wonderful and loving Heavenly Father is at work in each and every one of your lives. The little stories we tell each other of His goodness and how He has made Himself known to us can cause our hearts to fall even more deeply in love with Him. Sometimes these stories are just so good that, well, we just have to share them!

When we pass on just one inspiring testimony, we have the opportunity to reveal His love for us, and we can illuminate for others what it means to have the Creator of the Universe working on our behalf. Who is like our God? What other people have a God who designs all things to work together for the good of those that love Him? Remembering and retelling the amazing things that the Lord accomplished is a major part of both the Old and New Testaments. In fact, we are strongly encouraged to share! Ps. 105:1-2 “Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim His greatness, Let the whole world know what He has done. Sing to Him; yes sing his praises. Tell everyone about His miracles.” (NLT)

So what if we do? What if we don’t? When we remember and share those wonderful acts that God has done, we cultivate faithfulness in our own hearts and help others to do the same.

When we quickly forget His works, we tend to lose our way in the wilderness. When we speak up about how God has touched us or used us, we can literally light the way for someone else. It’s our choice- do we want to hide our light under a bushel or let it so shine before men that they might see our Father up in heaven.
